society
Danielsen began his career in the youth team of KÍ Klaksvík . In 2000 he was used for the first time for the second team in the second division and was one of the regular players there. The first game he played against B36 Tórshavn II , which was lost 0-2. He scored his first goal on matchday five in a 1-0 away win against EB / Streymur . In the same year he also made his debut for the first team in the first division in a 2-1 win against B36 Tórshavn on Matchday 15, when he came on in the 72nd minute for Hjalgrím Elttør . In his second season he was already scheduled for the first team and, in addition to the league games, also played a few cup games . In the group stage he scored his first goal for the senior team in a 4-0 win against B71 Sandur with the opening goal. Danielsen was also placed in the cup final, but this was lost 1-0 to B36 Tórshavn. On the 17th matchday of the first division he scored the final score in a 2-0 away win against FS Vágar , which meant his first goal in the top Faroese division.
In 2005 Danielsen was loaned to Sogndal Fotball in the local second division for one season, after which he returned to Klaksvík. In 2006 he was with the club again in the cup final, which this time was lost 2-1 to B36 Tórshavn. The next year was the move to BK Frem København , where he played together with Jón Rói Jacobsen in a team. He made his debut for Frem in the 2008/09 season on the first day of the Viasat Sport Division against Thisted FC , which was lost 3-1. Danielsen played through. In the summer of 2009 he returned to KÍ Klaksvík after he was loaned for a game in 2007, and played there until the end of the season, but could not prevent the club's first relegation. Since 2010 he ran for FC Roskilde again in the second-rate Viasat Sport Division. In the middle of 2011 he moved back to the Faroe Islands to B36 Tórshavn and won the championship that same year together with Jákup á Borg and Súni Olsen . After the end of the 2012 season, Danielsen left B36 again in the direction of KÌ Klaksvík. In 2016 KÍ won the cup, Danielsen was not used in the final. In the game for the Supercup he lost 2-1 against champion Víkingur Gøta .

He has not yet managed to score his own goal for the national team. In September 2010 Danielsen announced that he would take a break from his national team career in order to concentrate more on his studies. From June to September 2011, however, he was used again in five games in a row.
