Aureliano Bolognesi (born November 15, 1930 in Sestri Ponente , Italy , † March 30, 2018 ) was an Italian lightweight boxer.

career

As an amateur, he secured the gold medal in the lightweight at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki by beating Poland's Aleksy Antkiewicz in the final .

Bolognesi's short professional career, which lasted from 1954 to 1956, was poor in climaxes. In his 21 fights, he faced opponents eight times in their first professional fight.
