Hans Jacob Nielsen (* 2 September 1899 in Næstved , † 6. February 1967 in Aalborg ) was a Danish boxer in pen and ink and lightweight.
Nielsen first took part in featherweight at the 1920 Olympics in Antwerp, but was defeated there in the second round by James Cater . At the Olympics in Paris four years later, he won the gold medal in the lightweight by beating Alfredo Copello in the final . In 1928 he tried to defend his Olympic title, but lost in the semifinals to the eventual Olympic champion Carlo Orlandi . Due to his subsequent defeat against Gunnar Berggren , he could not even win the bronze medal and was fourth.
