Axel Buchholz (* 1965 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

From 1986 to 1990 Buchholz studied acting at the "Konrad Wolf" Academy for Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg. In 1988 he was engaged in the Hans-Otto-Theater Potsdam , 1993 in Bonn and 1994 to 1997 in the Eduard-von-Winterstein-Theater Annaberg-Buchholz . Since 1998 he has played regularly in the stands.

He also works for film and television, including the television series For all cases Stefanie (Sat.1), From case to case and coast guard (ZDF). He was also an actor in the ARD series Lindenstrasse as Victor Wedekamp from summer 2006 to winter 2008 .

From March 2nd, 2009 to February 24th, 2010 he was in the telenovela Alisa - Follow your heart as Karl Lenz . After the title change to Hanna - Follow your heart with the new leading actress from episode 241, he was seen in the telenovela from February 25, 2010 in the same role until the series ended in September 2010. Other roles, especially in television productions, followed. In 2016 he played a small role in A Cure for Wellness .
