European Badminton Youth Championship
Badminton - Junior European championships are held since of 2005. They take place every two years. Athletes in the U17 age group are allowed to compete in these championships. They emerged from the Polonia Cup , in which teams of the European B group competed against each other. Following the Polonia Cup tradition, only team competitions were held in 2005 and 2007. The first single tournament with five disciplines followed in 2009, followed by the establishment of a badminton U15 European championship in 2014.
