The Veselí nad Lužnicí – Jihlava railway is a single-track main line ("celostátní dráha") in the Czech Republic , which was originally built and operated by the Austrian state as part of the Bohemian-Moravian Transversal Railway. It runs from Veselí nad Lužnicí via Jindřichův Hradec ( Neuhaus ) and Horní Cerekev to Jihlava ( Iglau ). The line was opened on November 3, 1887.
