history

The first written mention of the place comes from the year 1356. Jihlávka originated in the border forest Borek on the border with Bohemia.

During the Hussite Wars in 1423 a battle took place between Jihlávka and Horní Dubenky, in which a division of the Taborites was destroyed.

In the 18th century, the Katharinenbad was built northwest of the village at the foot of the Lísek, and at the beginning of the 20th century it became a meeting place for Prague society. The spa guests mostly traveled by train via the train station Jihlávka - Svatá Kateřina / Klein Iglau - Sankt Katharina.
