history

Milíčov was created at the end of the 13th century during the colonization of the Bohemian border areas with Moravia in the Gau Řečice belonging to the diocese of Prague . The first written mention of the 14 Hufen village was made in 1379 as one of the 93 settlements belonging to the Řečice manor. At that time, Nápravník Heřman Vlček was also called in Milíčov . The place was under the administration of the episcopal bailiff in Raichenau . Milíčov was one of the poor mountain villages, its inhabitants were therefore exempt from the manorial labor and only obliged to drive for hunting. The village was parish to Raichenau. In 1415, Bishop Konrad von Vechta pledged the ečice and Raichenau domains to Jan von Chotěmice . A short time later it was captured by the Hussites and u. a. held by Captain Nikolaus Sokol von Lamberg. The Milíčov area was conquered by the Catholic lords of Leskovec on Horní Cerekev after fighting with the Hussites . After the end of the Hussite Wars , Janek von Chotěmice received his property back from Emperor Sigismund in 1436 and sold the rule the following year to Mikuláš Trčka von Lípa , who also owned the neighboring Želiv rule . After the rule Řečice fell to the court chamber after the death of Mikuláš Trčka in 1454, Ladislaus Postumus divided it into the rule Řečice and Pelhřimov, with the border between the two dominions running through Milíčov. The Pelhřimov share, which the sons of Mikuláš Trčka kept, comprised four properties and a chalet. The rule of Řečice was given to the widower Heinrich von Stráž , with her from Milíčov ten farms and two chalets. In 1496 the lords of Leskovec acquired the rule Řečice and divided it in 1543, whereby the Řečice share of Milíčov fell to the new rule Rychnov . Between the lords of Říčany, who had become the owners of the Pelhřimov share in 1549, and the Leskovecs, there were a number of boundary disputes in Milíčov, which led to boundary stones being set up and boundary marks being attached to trees. Fish ponds have been created in both parts since the middle of the 16th century. In the Pelhřimov part of the Rohozenský rybník, in the Rychnov part in 1545 and 1588 the Dolní kladinský rybník and the Horní kladinský rybník. Presumably the Sviták was also created at this time. In 1597 the Lords of Říčany also acquired the Rychnov estate. Heřman von Říčany auf Rychnov bought the Pelhřimov share from Milíčov in 1602 and added it to his rule. In 1616 the reunited village consisted of 14 farms and 10 chalets. The next owner was Jan von Říčany.

The existence of a judge Tobias Razim in Milíčov has been documented since 1610. It probably involves a son of 1623 after the re-transfer of the confiscated from the possession of the insurgent January of Říčany dominions of the Archdiocese of Prague by Bishop Ernst Adalbert von Harrach as a captain of Řečice and Rychnov Jiří used Razim Milíčovský, 1633 regent of all rulers belonging to the Archdiocese of Prague rose. The village on the main route from Pelhřimov to Jihlava was harassed by various troops, especially the Swedish, during the Thirty Years' War. Miličov remained subordinate to the Rychnov reign until 1848.

After the abolition of patrimonial Miličov formed a municipality in the Pelhřimov district from 1850 . In 1895 the village had 391 inhabitants and consisted of 52 houses. In 1921 there were 385 people in Milíčov. In the second half of the 20th century, there was a sharp decline in population. Milíčov has belonged to the Okres Jihlava since 1961 .
