history
Boršov arose in the 13th century during the colonization of the Bohemian border areas with Moravia in the Gau Řečice belonging to the diocese of Prague . The place is named after a Bořislav . Borzyssow was first mentioned in writing in 1233. At the end of the 14th century, the settlement consisted of eight properties, which for a payment of three groschen per cap had bought their manorial gradient from the fron and only had to do their hunts. In the middle of the 15th century the village belonged to the possessions of the Hohenfurth monastery , which it sold to Nikolaus von Pelgrims before 1460 . Subsequently, Boršov belonged to the Rychnov rule . From 1543 the lords of Leskovec bought Rychnov. In 1586, Emperor Rudolf II bought the rule for the royal chamber.
After the abolition of patrimonial Boršov formed from 1850 a district of the municipality of Hojkov in the Pelhřimov district . The location of the school was Dušejov , although there was a dispute between the two places because of the cost of running the school. At the beginning of the 20th century, Boršov became independent. In 1920 the community had 272 inhabitants and consisted of 47 houses. Ten years later, 241 people lived in Boršov. In 1949 the municipality was assigned to the Okres Jihlava-okolí and since 1961 it has belonged to the Okres Jihlava .
