Nová Říše (German Neureisch ) is a minority town in Okres Jihlava (Iglau district) in Kraj Vysočina (Highlands region) in Moravia in the Czech Republic.
The municipality has an area of 785 hectares and a population of 855 (as of 2005). Nová Říše is about 30 km south of Jihlava (German Iglau) and about 10 km southeast of Telč (German Telč ) in the Okres Jihlava . On March 17, 2011 the status as Městys was renewed.
Attractions
The most important attraction is the Ss Abbey, founded around 1211 as a women's choir. Peter and Paul the Premonstratensian Choirs and their Church.
