Zbilidy (German Rotneustift , also Rothneustift ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is twelve kilometers south of Humpolec and belongs to the Okres Jihlava .
geography
Zbilidy is located in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the basin of several smaller streams, which merge southeast of the village in the pond Maršovský rybník with the Maršovský potok. To the north rises the Čihadlo (664 m), in the south the Hrachovec (686 m), southwest the Boroví vrch ( Borowiberg , 696 m) and in the northwest the Novákovsko (610 m).
Neighboring towns are Ústí and Branišov in the north, Šimanov in the northeast, Hlávkov in the east, Jiřín and Ježená in the southeast, Dušejov in the south, Jankov , Opatov and Vyskytná in the southwest and Dudín and Buková in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village belonging to the property of the Seelau monastery took place in 1341. In 1390 a pond between Zbylyd and Gezena was mentioned , which is probably the Maršovský rybník. In 1458, Georg von Podiebrad left the Seelau monastery property, which had been orphaned since the Hussite Wars , to Lord Trčka von Lípa . In 1601 the Trčka sold the Jenikau estate with the town of Windig Jenikau and 22 villages, including Neustift, to Matthias Stubegg Knights of Königstein ( Matyáš Štubík z Königštejna ) , who came from an ennobled Iglau patrician family . The Stubegg sold the rule to Magdalena Trčka von Lobkowicz in 1619 . During the Thirty Years' War the area became impoverished and subsequently foreign aristocrats quickly took turns as owners and pushed through the re-Catholicization of the population.
After the abolition of patrimonial Zbilidi / Rothneustift with the district Točíkův Mlýn from 1850 formed a municipality in the Deutschbrod district . At the beginning of the 20th century, Zbilidy was assigned to the Humpolec district. Since 1961 the municipality belongs to the Okres Jihlava .
