history
The first written mention of the village took place in 1361. At the transition from the 16th to the 17th century, the Vladiken von Řísnice established a fortress in Mirošov. The Lords Wrazda von Kunwald ( Vražda z Kunvaldu ) had the fortress rebuilt into a three-winged baroque castle in the 18th century. At the end of the 18th century, the von Reichl family acquired Gut Miroschau and at the beginning of the 19th century had the palace rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style with a four-story tower. An extensive archaeological collection was created under the Reichl at Miroschau Palace.
After the abolition of patrimonial Mirošov / Miroschau with the districts Jedlov / Jedlau and Mirošovské Hutě / glassworks formed a community in the Pelhřimov district from 1850 . At the beginning of the 20th century, the Steinbach family acquired the Miroschau Palace. In 1945 the Red Army occupied the castle and took it over. After their departure, Eugenie Steinbach initially got it back. In 1948 the castle was nationalized and the following year it was incorporated into the state property in Jihlava . Also in 1949 the municipality Mirošov was assigned to the Okres Jihlava-okolí and since 1961 it belongs to the Okres Jihlava . The castle, which is protected as a cultural monument, fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1986 without the permission of the monument authority. The administration of the Jihlava state property was then fined 800,000 crowns. The amount would have been the same as the restoration effort.
