Klatovec (German Klatowetz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 22 kilometers northeast of Jindřichův Hradec and belongs to the Okres Jihlava .
geography
Klatovec is located northwest of the Javořická vrchovina, the highest part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The place lies at the western foot of the Javořice (837 m) on a hill between the valleys of the Hamerský potok and Studenský potok. To the northeast rise the Stříbrný vrch (759 m) and the Velký Skalní vrch (785 m).
Neighboring towns are Kaliště in the north, Světlá in the south-east, Horní Pole in the south, Domašín and Perka in the south-west, Panské Dubenky in the west and Býkovec in the north-west.
