The Baltic Cup 1991 was the 31st staging of the soccer tournament for the title of the Baltic States . At the same time it was the first after the Singing Revolution in which the three Baltic states fought for independence from the Soviet Union . The first international matches were played as independent states for the three countries for the first time in 51 years when they regained independence. The tournament for national football teams took place in Lithuania between November 15 and 17, 1991 . The three games were played at the Žalgiris Stadium in Vilnius . The Lithuanian national team won their 10th title.
