Barry Watson

Michael Barrett "Barry" Watson (born April 23, 1974 in Traverse City , Michigan ) is an American film and television actor . He was best known for the role of Matt Camden in the television series A Heavenly Family .


When Barry Watson was eight years old, his family moved with him to Dallas , Texas . There he started working as a model early on . At the age of 15 Watson moved to Burbank , California , where he got a small role in the television series Time of Desire . After the end of the engagement he returned to Texas and finished there in 1992 at the high school of Richardson his education. At the age of 19, Watson moved to Los Angeles , where he initially worked as a chauffeur for the House Of Blues nightclub . He then got a small role in Aaron Spelling's television series Malibu Beach , and Spelling's daughter Tori introduced him to his future first wife, Laura.

In 1996 he got a leading role in the television series A Heavenly Family . He became part of a group of well-known teenage actors who poked themselves in a poker scene in the movie Ocean's Eleven (2001). In 1999 he got his first major lead role in the movie Kill Mrs. Tingle! . In 2002, Watson left A Heavenly Family after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease . After successful treatment, he returned to the ensemble of the series on the occasion of the 150th episode in 2003 and had numerous guest appearances until the end of the series in 2006.

In 2005 he played the lead role in the horror film Boogeyman - The Black Man . In April 2006, the first episode of the television series What About Brian aired, in which Watson plays the lead role. After a second season in 2007, the series was discontinued.

On August 3, 2004, Watson became engaged to Tracy Hutson. They married on July 14, 2006. A year earlier - on May 2, 2005 - their first child was born, the second child followed in November 2007. In 2011, the marriage was divorced.

Barry Watson is now in a relationship with Natasha Gregson Wagner . They have a daughter together.
