Baruch Adonai Le'Olam is a prayer recited during the chacharit in Psuke desimra following Hallel .

The section consists of verses beginning with the word “Blessed” ( Hebrew ברוך) and find that God is a source of blessings. It follows the Hallel and is performed in a way that connects Hallel with the Blessing. The section consists of four verses: verse 53 of Psalm 89, verse 21 of Psalm 135, and verses 18–19 of Psalm 72. The word Amen is recited twice in the first verse as an emphasis on the word Amen. The word Amen can have three meanings:

  • to accept a vow for yourself
  • to accept the truth of an assertion
  • to express the hope that a request will be fulfilled in prayer
