Batın Kösemen (born January 1, 1991 ) is a Turkish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Buz Korsanlar in the second Turkish division since 2015 .

Career

Batın Kösemen began his career as a hockey player at İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK , for whom he made his debut in the Turkish Super League in the 2003/04 season . In 2006 he switched to Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıt SK , with whom he became Turkish champion in 2007 after two runner-up titles . After this success he returned to İzmir for two years to his home club, which was playing second class at the time. He then moved to the capital's university sports club, with which he again won the Turkish title in 2010. In 2011, Kösemen moved to Kocaeli for the second time. He left the club in the summer of 2013 and switched to new league Zeytinburnu Belediye SK , with whom he won his first Turkish championship title in 2015. He then joined the second division club Buz Korsanlar .

International

For Turkey, Kösemen took part in the junior division III in the U18 World Championships in 2005 , 2006 , 2007 , 2008 and 2009 as well as the U20 World Championships in 2007 , 2008 , 2010 , when he was named the best player of his team, and in 2011 . He also played with the Turkish student selection at the 2011 Winter Universiade in Erzurum .

The striker played with the men's national team at the World Championships in Division II in 2010 , 2013 and 2014 and in the World Championships in Division III in 2009 and 2012 .
