Beáta Rakonczai
Beáta Rakonczai (born June 25, 1977 in Nyíregyháza ) is a Hungarian long-distance runner .
In 1999 and 2000 she became national champion over 10,000 m , in 2001 in cross-country and in 2008 over 5000 m .
In 2000 she won the Würzburg Residence Run . The following year she won the Prague Grand Prix , came 26th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Bristol and came fourth in the Zevenheuvelenloop . In 2002 she won the half marathon competition of the Linz Marathon .
In 2003 she won the night of Borgholzhausen and set course records in the half marathon competition of the Wachau Marathon and in Carinthia runs . She was third in the Portugal half marathon and fourth in the Amsterdam marathon . In 2004, after a sixth place in the Paris Marathon, she was nominated for the marathon of the Olympic Games in Athens , where she came in 48th.
In 2006 she finished sixth at the Great Manchester Run and finished 24th at the World Road Running Championships in Debrecen . In 2007 she finished second in the Houston Marathon . In the marathon of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, she did not finish.
