The base formed the SUV Beijing BJ2032S with all-wheel drive .

The vehicles were powered by a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2271 cm³ and an output of 68 kW.

One source names 2350 mm wheelbase , 4760 mm length, 1800 mm width, 1905 mm height and 1850 kg curb weight . Another source gives either 2500 mm or 2750 mm wheelbase. The length was between 4760 mm and 5260 mm, the width between 1800 mm and 1880 mm, the height between 1905 mm and 2000 mm and the empty weight between 1850 kg and 1920 kg.

The vehicle was usually bodied as a Kübelwagen with four doors. A closed structure made it possible to transform it into a station wagon .

In 2008 the model was still in production. It is not known when it was discontinued.

The Chinese army bought a few hundred of these vehicles.
