description

Possible manufacturers are Beijing Automobile Works and Beijing Motor Corporation , both of which belong to the Beijing Automotive Group . It is a compact class vehicle .

The basis is a platform that corresponds to that of the Smart Forfour built in 2004–2007. Certain optical details are similar to the first Mercedes-Benz B-Class called the Mercedes-Benz T 245 . This is especially true for the hatchback version. A notchback variant was also available.

The dimensions and weights of the hatchback version are known: 2500 mm wheelbase , 3998 mm vehicle length, 1720 mm vehicle width, 1503 mm vehicle height and 1090 kg empty weight .

Two versions have a gasoline engine . Both are four-cylinder engines with four-valve technology. The E130 has a displacement of 1299 cm³ and an output of 73 kW. The E150 has an output of 83 kW from a displacement of 1499 cm³.

Versions with manual and automatic transmissions have survived . In crash tests , they achieved different results.

These models were available from 2012 to 2015 and were then replaced by the Beijing Senova D20 .

In 2012, 19,059 vehicles of this type were newly registered in China. In the two following years there were 60,806 and 69,714 vehicles. In 2015 the number fell to 897. The manufacturer himself stated 30,000 vehicles for 2012.

E series EV
