Benno Konstanz Heineccius , since 1866 by Heineccius , (born January 7, 1830 in Löwenberg , Province of Silesia , † October 19, 1911 in Berlin-Westend ) was a Prussian major general .

Life

origin

A native of the letter noble family Heineccius and was the son of the king in 1866 by I. Wilhelm raised in the Prussian nobility lieutenant colonel constancy of Heineccius, great-grandson of Johann Gottlieb Heineccius . His mother was Mathilde Countess zu Herzberg (used Schippenbeil). His younger brother Georg von Heineccius was also a Prussian major general.

Military career

Like many of his family members, he embarked on a military career in the Prussian Army . On April 22, 1847 he was appointed officer and promoted to captain on August 16, 1859 . In 1864 he took part in the campaign in Schleswig and led the 2nd Guard Company. He received the Red Eagle Order IV class with swords. In the further course of his military career , Heineccius was active in the 1st Guard Field Artillery Regiment . Initially as a lieutenant colonel , from April 18, 1878 as a colonel , he was in command of the Grand Ducal Hessian Field Artillery Regiment No. 25 . On September 16, 1879, in approval of his resignation request, he was put up for disposition with the statutory pension . On the occasion of his farewell, Heineccius was awarded the Crown Order II. Class with Swords on the Ring. He later received the character of major general.

family

Heineccius married Jenny Pohl from Berlin on October 14, 1854 (* June 27, 1837 - September 21, 1890). The couple had several children:
