Bernd Wilting

Bernd Wilting (* 1956 ) is a German documentary filmmaker , screenwriter , director and film producer .

Career

Wilting studied theater, film and television studies at the University of Cologne and from 1983 worked as a freelance journalist for Die Zeit , ARD and ZDF . From 1990 to 1992 he was a consultant for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation . In 1996 he founded the Cologne-based film production company Taglicht Media with Uli Veith .

Since 2011 he has been a member of the overall board of the documentary film section of the Alliance of German Producers - Film & Television .
