Bernhard Ludwig Paul Freiherr von Minnigerode (born August 20, 1852 in Göttingen ; † October 6, 1910 in Silkerode ) was a majorate , owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .

origin

His parents were Ludwig von Minnigerode (March 26, 1820 - September 4, 1882) and his wife Adelinde von Valtier (March 3, 1821 - November 26, 1896), a daughter of Major General Johann Ludwig Ferdinand von Valtier .

Life

Minnigerode attended high school in Gütersloh from 1864 to 1867 and the Lyceum in Hanover from 1868 to 1872 . Between 1872 and 1873 he studied law in Halle . In 1874 he was a year old with the Thuringian Uhlan Regiment No. 6 and then studied law and economics in Leipzig and Göttingen until 1877, and finally forest science in Tharandt . He was a member of the Calenberg-Grubenhagen knighthood and landscape member of the two district assemblies in Osterode and Worbis . From 1880 to 1888 he was deputy head of office for the districts of Bockelnhagen and Gerode in the Worbis district. From 1888 he was head of the district of Bockelnhagen in the Worbis district. He was also the owner of the Wollershausen manors in the Hanoverian Amte Herzberg and Lindenberg in the former Osterode district, as well as the majorate Silkerode-Allerberg in the Worbis district, consisting of the four manors Silkerode Oberhof, Silkerode Unterhof, Bockelnhagen Wollershäuser Hof and Weilrode Hinterhof.

From 1890 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Province of Hanover 13 ( Goslar , Zellerfeld , Ilfeld ) and the German-Hanover Party .

family

On December 29, 1885, he married Louise von der Esch, the only daughter of the Prussian Major General Karl von der Esch (1827–1880). The couple had several children:
