Bianca Moreno Henninger (born October 22, 1990 in Los Gatos , California ) is a former American - Mexican soccer goalkeeper .
Career
societies
Henninger attended the "Archbishop Mitty High School" in San José from August 2004 to spring 2008 and played in their women's soccer team. With the "Monarch's" she won the US college championship twice in 2006 and 2007. As a graduate of Santa Clara University , she played in their soccer team, the "Santa Clara Broncos" , from the age of 18 to 21 . In early 2012, she was the WPS - Franchise Philadelphia Independence drafted . Since the league was dissolved shortly before the start of the season, Henninger moved to New York Fury in the "Women's Premier Soccer League", the 2nd division in US women's football. In 2012 it was used only once for the “Fury's” .
At the beginning of 2013 she was committed in the so-called "Supplemental Draft" to the newly founded NWSL , the highest league in US women's football, from FC Kansas City . Henninger made her league debut on June 13, 2013 (12th matchday) in a 2-0 win in the away game against the Chicago Red Stars . She and her club player Erika Tymrak went on loan to the German Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich for the 2013/14 season .
When the loan period expired at the end of 2013, Henninger's season at Bayern ended - without having played a game. She returned to the United States with Erika Tymrak and joined the Houston Dash in January 2014 . After playing 20 point games, she was given on loan to Australian first division club Melbourne Victory for the 2016/17 season . She made her debut there on November 6, 2016 (1st matchday) in a 3-3 draw in the away game against Adelaide United . At the beginning of April 2017, Henninger was released from the Houston Dash, but received a new contract in August to represent the injured goalkeeper Lydia Williams . At the end of the 2019 season, she ended her career.
National team
After the United States' female U-18 national team had existed from 1998 to 2001, it was revived in 2008 to provide international match practice to players who emerged from the U-17 but were still too young for the U-20 national team . From her, players should be won for a future core team that should qualify for the U-20 World Cup 2010; Bianca Henninger also belonged to the 24-man squad of coach Dean Duerst .
She played her first international match for this national team on March 10, 2008 in La Manga in a 2-0 win over the Swedish U-19 national team.
Henninger took part in the CONCACAF U-20 championship held in Guatemala from January 21 to 30, 2010 and made his debut in the national jersey of the U-20 national team , which beat Jamaica 6-0 on January 21 in Guatemala City won.
In the following tournament games she stayed with the team against the selections of Trinidad and Tobago (4-0, on January 23), Mexico (2: 1; on January 25) and Costa Rica (2: 1, on January 28) undefeated and reached the final on January 30th, which was also won 1-0 against Mexico's selection.
She took part in the U-20 World Cup, which was held in Germany from July 13 to August 1, 2010 , played all three group matches and was eliminated from the tournament in the quarter-finals with 2: 4 on penalties against Nigeria's selection. Nevertheless, she was awarded the Golden Glove for her achievements.
From 2011 to 2012 she was on the squad of the United States U-23 national team and made her debut on June 19, 2011 in a 4-0 win over Sweden's selection. In November 2015 she was appointed to the squad of the Mexican national team for the first time . She finally made her debut for the senior national team on February 4, 2017 in Vancouver when they lost 3-2 in a friendly against the national team of Canada . On July 8, 2017, she lost a test match with the senior national team against the national team of Sweden .
