Before the 2015 territorial reform, Bibileo had an area of 94.83 km². Now there are 62.41 km². The Suco is divided into two areas. They are separated from each other by the Suco Bahalarauain . One area of Bibileo is on the Timor Sea coast . To the west is the Suco Luca , to the north Bahalarauain and east of the Suco Uma Quic . In it, close to the sea, are the villages that make up the population center of Suco: Amarleza , Aisahe ( Aisabe ), Webae ( Ueabae ), Lacouai ( Laco Uai , Lakuuai ), Mane Claran ( Maneklaran ), Balideoan ( Balide Oan , Balidioan ), Hareoan ( Hare Oan , Hareoan ) and Fatohosan ( Fato Hosan , Fatu Hosa ), the former Clalerec Mutin ( Klaterek Mutin ). The southern tip of Bibileo, the Ponta de Luca, is a little east of the towns . The Tuco River flows in between . To the east of the Ponta de Luca lies the Lago Ainfon near the coast . The primary school of Sucos, the Escola Primaria Bibileo, is located in the center of the settlement .

The second part of the Bibileo is at the northern tip of the administrative office Viqueque, on the northern border with the municipality of Baucau (Sucos Vemasse and Ossouala , both administrative office Vemasse ). To the west is the administrative office Lacluta with its sucos Laline and Dilor and to the east the administrative office of Ossu with its sucos Liaruca and Ossu de Cima . The mountainous region is over 800  m above sea level. On the southern border, some source rivers of the Tucos flow: the Caidercana , which first becomes the Maracoa and then the Metacoa , and the Lequeloe . There are no larger settlements in the north.

In the Suco there are the eight Aldeias Aisahe , Amarleza , Balideoan , Fatohosan , Hareoan , Lacouai , Mane Claran and Webae .

history

Pressed by the Indonesian invaders, residents of Bucoli , Vemasse and Karabela fled from Uaigae to Uai-Mori , in what is now the northern part of Bibileo, about 20 km south of Vemasse. Here they found protection through the FRETILIN . A base de apoio was created, a base of resistance. Together with refugees from Dili, Viqueque and other parts of the country, the refugees lived here for two years. Over time, food shortages grew as more and more people arrived. In 1978, Uai-Mori was also attacked by Indonesian forces. Most of the residents fled, some were captured by the Indonesians and taken to the Bucoli assembly camp.
