Bildungshaus (adult and further education)
Bildungshaus or training center is a term used for adult and advanced training facilities , religious advanced training or professional advanced training for company employees.
The programs of educational institutions include seminars , individual or sequential courses - which mainly take place on weekends - as well as lectures and conferences . Frequent topics are health , self-awareness , partnership , meaningful organization of leisure time , upbringing , religion (s) and worldview .
Some training centers organize educational trips or holiday weeks for families , educational centers with religious focus can retreat , retreat or contemplative walks offer. Other, but rarer, offers include management courses, teacher training , psychological counseling, marriage preparation , etc.
Important sponsors of educational institutions are dioceses and religious orders , various unions , political parties , social organizations such as Caritas or Diakonie , chambers (Chamber of Labor, Chamber of Agriculture), federal states or the federal government.
