Bin Ishioka ( Japanese 石 岡 敏 , Ishioka Bin ; born January 17, 1984 in Kushiro , Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese ice hockey player who has been under contract with China Dragon in the Asia League Ice Hockey since 2014 .

Career

Bin Ishioka began his career as a hockey player with Shirakaba Gakuen in a Japanese junior league. He then played in the team of Meiji University , for which he was active from 2002 to 2005. In the 2006/07 season, the winger played for Tyringe SoSS in Division 1 , the third Swedish division. From 2007 to 2009 he was on the ice for the Seibu Prince Rabbits in the Asia League Ice Hockey , with whom he failed in the playoff final of the Nippon Paper Cranes in the 2008/09 season . After the dissolution of the Rabbits, the Japanese international signed a contract with the newly founded Tohoku Free Blades for the 2009/10 season . There he was able to convince with 14 goals and 18 assists in 33 games. In the 2010/11 season, which ended prematurely due to the Tōhoku earthquake , he and his team won the championship title of the Asia League Ice Hockey for the first time. In 2012 he moved to Korean league rivals High1 , where he stayed for two seasons. He then went to the only Chinese club in the Asia League in 2014, the China Dragon , for which he has played since then.

International

For Japan, Ishioka took part in the junior division at the U18 Junior B World Championship 2000 and the U18 Junior World Championships Division 1 in 2001 and 2002 as well as the U20 Junior C World Championship 2000 and the U20 Junior World Championship Division II 2002 and the U20 Junior World Championship Division I in 2003 .

In the senior sector, he was in Japan's squad at the World Championships in Division I in 2005 and 2010 and the qualifying tournaments for the Winter Olympics in Turin in 2006 and in Vancouver in 2010 . He also played for Japan at the 2011 Asian Winter Games , where he and his team won the silver medal.
