The Diocese of Odessa-Simferopol ( Latin Dioecesis Odesensis-Sympheropolitanus , Ukrainian Одесько-Сімферопольська дієцезія ) is a Roman Catholic diocese in the south of Ukraine with its seat in Odessa . Its territory includes the Oblasts of Odessa , Mykolaiv , Kherson and Kirovohrad , the Crimea and the western part of the Dnepropetrovsk Oblast .
history
The diocese was rebuilt in 2002 under Pope John Paul II by separating it from the Diocese of Kamianets-Podilskyi . The first bishop until February 2020 was Bronisław Bernacki . He was followed by Stanislav Schyrokoradjuk OFM .
