The Diocese of Zacatecoluca ( Latin Dioecesis Zacatecolucana , Spanish diócesis de Zacatecoluca ) is in El Salvador situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Zacatecoluca . It includes the department of La Paz and a small part of San Vicente .
history
Pope John Paul II established the diocese on May 5, 1987 from cessions of territory from the diocese of San Vicente . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of San Salvador as a suffragan .
