Flower sex

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Blümchensex , sometimes daisy sex , is a term from everyday German for a gentle sexuality that is oriented towards tenderness and cuddling , which can include both petting and sexual intercourse . The focus is on romance , without special experiments. This is often referred to as cuddle sex . Sometimes flower sex is used disparagingly , for example in personals there are corresponding phrases. Some people also try to use it specifically as a swear word . Opposing concepts to vanilla sex is about sex games , role playing , hardcore sex or BDSM .

In the BDSM scene, flower sex is sometimes used to mean the same thing as vanilla sex, which means "non-BDSM sex" (sex without extras). Lesbian BDSM internal use Kuschelsex as a battle cry in the clashes with radical feminists , the aggression and violent sexuality as a model propagate (see Feminist Sex Wars ). In the lesbian scene there are SM- lesbians and, on the contrary, the vanilla -lesbians or Germanized "flower lesbians".

Word origin

Martin Goldstein alias Dr. Sommer explained in the Bravo :Flower sex is often done by young and inexperienced couples. What is meant is a careful, inquiring and tender lovemaking, mostly without sexual intercourse. ”One possible origin of the word is that flowers usually embody something sweet, cute and playful - just what happens during flower sex. Another possibility is the derivation of the flower coffee , a very thin coffee through which you can see the flowers on the bottom of the porcelain cup.

Sometimes the headlines describe the pollination process of flowers by honey bees as flower sex . The name could have been based on a backward sexual education based on this picture , which describes the sexual act in a belittling way as the union of bees and flowers.

In his History of Sexology, Volkmar Sigusch describes the ultimate ideal described by Ernest Bornemann and Wilhelm Reich , from which everything only vaguely same-sex has been displaced, as coitus germanicus simplex . For Christoph Winder from Der Standard , this means a "heterosexual forest and meadow sleep of the simplest style".
