history

The land area of the imperial city of Nuremberg

Until the beginning of the 19th century, Bodengrub was under the sovereignty of the imperial city of Nuremberg . The Landalmosenamt Nürnberg exercised the village and community rulership over the only property of the place , the high jurisdiction was incumbent on the care office Hiltpoltstein in its function as Fraischamt . Bodengrub became Bavarian in 1806 after the imperial city of Nuremberg was annexed by the Kingdom of Bavaria in violation of the imperial constitution . This made the place part of the New Bavarian territories that were taken over by the Napoleonic land consolidation , which was only subsequently legalized in July 1806 with the Rhine Confederation Act.

As a result of the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Bodengrub became a part of the rural community of Dachstadt with the second municipal edict in 1818 , which also included the village of Letten and the former wasteland of Lettenmühle . With the municipal regional reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Bodengrub and the municipality of Dachstadt were incorporated into the Igensdorf market at the beginning of 1972. Bodengrub had five residents in 1987.

traffic

A spur road coming from Letten connects the wasteland to the road network. Bodengrub is not served by public transport , the next stop of the VGN bus line 223 is in Dachstadt and the nearest train station is on the Graefenbergbahn in Mitteldorf .
