Bogdan Witaljewitsch Potechin ( Russian Богдан Витальевич Потехин ; born July 10, 1992 in Magnitogorsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Continental Hockey League since September 2019 .

Career

Bogdan Potechin began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk , for whose junior team Stalnje Lissy Magnitogorsk he played in the newly established MHL junior league in the 2009/10 season and with which he won the MHL championship. In the 2010/11 season , the attacker made his debut for the professional team Metallurgs in the Continental Hockey League .

At the end of the 2013/2014 season , he won the KHL championship trophy , the Gagarin Cup, with Metallurg .

Between July 2017 and November Potechin was with Amur Khabarovsk , then he moved to HK Vitjas . For the 2019/20 season he was signed by Kunlun Red Star and initially used at KRS-BSU Beijing in the Wysschaja Hockey League . At the end of September 2019 he returned to Metallurg Magnitogorsk.
