Bogna Sobiech (born March 25, 1990 in Chorzów , Poland , born Bogna Dybul ) is a Polish handball player who is currently under contract with the German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund .

Career

Club career

At the age of twelve she began her career with the Silesian club Zryw Chorzów . She later moved to the first division club Ruch Chorzów . There she developed into a regular player and top performer of the team. Due to her relationship with football professional Artur Sobiech , who moved to Hannover 96 in the summer of 2011 , she went with him to the city on a leash . After a trial training at SVG Celle , she was unable to get a new contract, which the trainer Martin Kahle later saw as a mistake.

After another trial session at VfL Wolfsburg , where she was not accepted because of the international association change price of 3000 euros, she received a new contract with third division club TSV Hannover-Burgdorf . After six months, Bogna Sobiech left Burgdorf and switched to the then second division club VfL Wolfsburg, where she was rejected shortly before. Again, like at TSV, she was able to assert herself as a regular player, but she left the club again after only six months after the club did not apply for a license for the new season.

Sobiech then went to the Bundesliga relegated SVG Celle for the new season . Here the outside player developed into a top performer and darling of the public. In February 2014, she extended her contract, which expired at the end of the season, for another year until June 30, 2015. After two years in the second division, they finished third at the end of the 2013/14 season and thus rose again to the Bundesliga . In summer 2015 she joined the third division HSG Hannover-Badenstedt . In 2016 she was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with Badenstedt. For the 2017/18 season, she moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga HSG Bensheim / Auerbach . She has been under contract with league rivals Borussia Dortmund since the 2019/20 season .

National team

By 2011, Bogna Sobiech had completed 30 international matches for the Polish junior national team.
