Bonaventure Rehefeld

Bonaventura Rehefeld (born September 24, 1610 in Kitzscher , † July 7, 1673 in Schleswig ) was a German Lutheran theologian.

Life

The son of the pastor in Kitzscher, Tobias Rehefeld and his wife Maria, the daughter of the Leipzig citizen Alexius Kloz and his wife Dorothea Trübenbach, was initially trained by his father. He came from a Saxon pastor's family, who came from a noble family in Silesia . He had attended school in Schulpforta since May 16, 1624 , and in 1630 began studying philosophy at the University of Leipzig . After studying with Philipp Müller and Andreas Corvinus , on February 28, 1636, he acquired the academic degree of a master's degree in philosophy and then began studying theology.

He also attended the lectures by David Auerbach , Christian Lange , Johann Höpner and Heinrich Höpfner . After completed studies, he was from 1643 to 1645 Bremervörder Hofprediger the pen Bremen administrator , the Danish Crown Prince Frederick . After Frederick had been removed from the archbishopric by the Swedes, Rehefeld was employed on February 21, 1646 as court preacher to Frederick's father Christian IV of Denmark and Norway at Glücksburg Castle and as provost of the Pinneberg rule . In 1649 he was appointed by Friedrich III, who has since succeeded Christian as king. from Denmark and Norway to provost in Haderslev and in 1668 he became general superintendent of the royal shares of the Duchy of Schleswig . Weakened by a stroke, he eventually passed away.
