The 2007 Boston Marathon was the 111th edition of the annual running event in Boston , United States . The marathon took place on April 16, 2007 and was the first World Marathon Majors of the year.
Robert Kipkoech Cheruiyot won the men in 2:14:13 h and Lidija Grigoryeva won the women in 2:29:18 h.
