In the following years he was under contract with various ECHL franchises before he was active for the Texas Brahmas in the Central Hockey League from 2007 to 2010 . In January 2013 Jaeger received German citizenship and was no longer included in the foreign contingent of the second German division. He then extended his contract one more time before moving from Bremerhaven to Dresden in May 2015.
