Bundestag constituency Bochum II - Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis II

The Bundestag constituency Bochum II - Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis II was a constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1965 to 2002 . Most recently, it comprised the Bochum districts south, east and north without the districts of Bergen and Hiltrop and, from the Ennepe-Ruhr district, the city of Witten . Until 1975 the city of Witten was an independent city, so that the constituency with a similar territory was called Bochum - Witten from 1965 to 1980 .

The constituency was dissolved for the 2002 Bundestag election . Since then, Bochum's north and east districts have been part of the Herne - Bochum II constituency , the south part of the Bochum I constituency and Witten of the Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis II constituency . The constituency was always won by candidates from the SPD , most recently by Christel Humme .
