The Bundestag constituency Döbeln - Mittweida - Meißen II was a constituency in Saxony in the Bundestag elections in 2002 and 2005 . It had constituency number 163 and included the former districts of Döbeln and Mittweida as well as the cities of Lommatzsch , Meißen , Nossen and the communities of Diera-Zehren , Käbschützal , Ketzerbachtal , Klipphausen , Leuben-Schleinitz , Lommatzsch of the former district of Meißen . Predecessor constituencies were the Bundestag constituencies Glauchau - Rochlitz - Hohenstein-Ernstthal - Hainichen , Döbeln - Grimma - Oschatz and Meißen - Riesa - Großenhain .

Since Saxony lost one constituency in the 2009 Bundestag election and a major district reform took place in Saxony in 2008 , most of the Saxon constituencies were redefined. The constituency Döbeln - Mittweida - Meißen II was dissolved. For the 2009 federal election, the former Döbeln district was assigned to the newly formed Central Saxony federal constituency . Likewise, the cities of Frankenberg / Sa. , Hainichen and Mittweida as well as the communities Kriebstein , Rossau , Altmittweida and Striegistal are assigned to the constituency of central Saxony. The remaining parts of the former Mittweida district became part of the new federal electoral district of Chemnitzer Umland - Erzgebirgskreis II . The areas of the district of Meissen were assigned to the new Bundestag constituency of Meissen .
