Norder- and Süderdithmarschen federal constituency
The constituency Norder- and Süderdithmarschen was a Bundestag constituency in Schleswig-Holstein and included most recently the area of the circle Norderdithmarschen and circle Süderdithmarschen excluding the municipalities Averlak , Behmhusen , Blangenmoor-Lehe , Brunsbüttel , Brunsbüttelkoog , things , Eddelak , Mill Road , Osterbelmhusen , Ostermoor , Westerbelmhusen and Westerbüttel . The constituency also included the communities of Alt Bennebek , Bargen , Bergenhusen , Börm , Dbodstedt , Drage , Erfde , Friedrichstadt , Klein Bennebek , Meggerdorf , Norderstapel , Seeth , Süderstapel , Tetenhusen , Tielen and Wohlde, which belonged to the then Schleswig district .

The constituency of Norder- and Süderdithmarschen had constituency number 4. The area of the constituency remained unchanged for the federal elections from 1949 to 1961. The above-mentioned communities in the Süderdithmarschen district belonged to the then Steinburg constituency. Before the federal election in 1965, the constituency was divided. The area of the district of Norderdithmarschen went to the constituency of Husum and the area of the district of Süderdithmarschen to the constituency of Steinburg - Süderdithmarschen .
