The constituency of Steinburg was a Bundestag constituency in Schleswig-Holstein and last comprised the area of the Steinburg district and the communities of Averlak , Behmhusen , Blangenmoor-Lehe , Brunsbüttel , Brunsbüttelkoog , Dingen , Eddelak , Mühlenstraßen , Osterbelmhusen , Ostermoor , and Westerbelmhusen , which belong to the district of Süderdithmarschen Westerbüttel . In addition to the constituency included the at that Rendsburg related communities Aasbüttel , Agethorst , Beldorf , Bendorf , Besdorf , Bokelrehm , Bokhorst , Bornholt , Gribbohm , Holstenniendorf , Nienbüttel , Nutteln , Oldenborstel , pulse , Schenefeld , Siezbüttel , Thaden , Vaale , Vaalermoor , Wacken and warring wood .

The constituency of Steinburg had constituency number 11. The area of the constituency was unchanged for the federal elections from 1949 to 1961. Before the federal election in 1965, the constituency was expanded to include the entire area of the Süderdithmarschen district and thus re-established as the Steinburg - Süderdithmarschen constituency.
