The castle Untertürkheim is an Outbound hilltop castle at 677.7  m above sea level. NN north of the church of Türkheim, a current district of Geislingen an der Steige in the district of Göppingen in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was built around 1100 either by the local lords of Türkheim or by the Counts of Helfenstein , whom they also served. The Türkheim local nobility was first mentioned in a document in 1107 . The castle was abandoned after 1200. Today's castle stable of the square, 28 by 33 meter large castle complex shows on the southeast and northeast side still 0.7 meter high wall remains. The other two sides drop steeply to the valley of the Rötelbach.
