The Postal Bieberbach denotes a Outbound medieval Spur castle at 530 m above sea level. NN on a rock group in the southern local area of Bieberbach, a district of the market town of Egloffstein in the Forchheim district in Bavaria .
The castle was built around 1225 by the Lords of Dachstetten. The lords of Egloffstein and the lords of Wichsenstein , who were ministerials of the Bamberg diocese , are named as other owners . The castle was destroyed in the course of the Peasants 'War in 1525 and finally in the Thirty Years' War . At the beginning of the 19th century the remains were removed except for a vault and a cellar.
