Burgstelle Schlossberg , also called Burg Dettingen , describes an abandoned hilltop castle on the western edge of the village above the western bank of the Lauter on the Schlossberg near the municipality of Dettingen unter Teck in the Esslingen district in Baden-Württemberg .
history
The former castle was probably built in the 13th century and mentioned around 1233. The ministerials from Teck are named as former owners . The castle was burned down in 1525. Only remnants of the neck ditch can be seen.
