Calonge is a municipality in the northeast of the Spanish region of Catalonia .

Geographical location

Calonge is in the province of Girona in the autonomous community of Catalonia and is 44.7 km from Girona. The municipality is on the Costa Brava , but the main town is 2 km inland.

The dolmen of the Puig d'Arques lies below the summit of the Puig d'Arques to the northwest of Calonge.

Local division

In addition to the main town, there are Cabanyes , Sant Antoni de Calonge (on the coast), Sant Daniel and Treumal .
