Camatindi is a town in the Chuquisaca department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Camatindi is the central place of the canton Camatindi in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Macharetí in the province of Luis Calvo . The village is located at an altitude of 616 m a few kilometers west of the Voranden chain of Serranía Aguaragüe , which runs from Boyuibe in the north via Villamontes to Yacuiba in the south and reaches heights of up to more than 1200 m at Camatindi.

Here the Ruta 6 crosses the 1,631-kilometer-long Ruta 9 from Guayaramerín on the Brazilian border via Santa Cruz to Yacuiba on the Argentine border. From Boyuibe it is 67 kilometers on the Ruta 9 via Macharetí and Tiguipa to Camatindi .
