Cannon Movie Tales is an American fairy tale film series produced for the cinema by Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus from 1986 to 1989 .

In 1986, the Cannon Group had the idea of ​​remaking famous fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm , Hans Christian Andersen and Charles Perrault for the cinema.
