Life
The son of an organist and owner of a music school began studying piano and organ as well as composition with Leoš Janáček at the Brno Conservatory . He later continued his studies at the Vienna Music Academy , where he was trained on the piano by Emil von Sauer . To finance his studies, he turned to light music and worked as a pianist, arranger and composer in night clubs. Then Loube was Kapellmeister at the Vienna City Theater and the City Theater , and from 1947 also director of the Vienna City Theater. In 1949 he put together the Red-White-Red Dance Orchestra with 40 musicians , which was later called the Great RWR Dance and Entertainment Orchestra and which he conducted from 1952 to 1955. 1952 Loubé was also head of the entertainment department of the station Red-White-Red . After the station was discontinued in 1955, he mainly worked in Germany. The repertoire was broad, so he accompanied Peter Alexander , Evelyn Künneke , Leila Negra and others on recordings, but also played unsung dance and light music pieces, as well as concert arrangements of well-known melodies in elaborate arrangements, around 120 of which were by Karl Grell .
His wife Lucie (born March 28, 1920 - November 17, 2019) was the long-time president of the Vienna Animal Welfare Association .
