Charles Carl Crabbe (born November 1, 1878 in Madison County , Ohio , † June 2, 1969 in Columbus , Ohio) was an American lawyer and politician ( Republican Party ). He sat in the Ohio House of Representatives and was Attorney General of Ohio from 1923 to 1927 .

Career

Charles Carl Crabbe was born on a farm in Madison County in 1878. He attended district schools. Then he taught at a school and studied for seven years Jura . Crabbe graduated from the Ohio Northern University College of Law in Ada, Ohio with a law degree . He was admitted to the bar in 1904 and then began practicing in Madison County. Crabbe served three terms as prosecuting attorney in Madison County. In 1918 he was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives. He was later elected twice as Attorney General of Ohio.

On September 22, 1904, he married Ida M. Roth in London, Ohio. They had a son named John Roth Crabbe.
