Chase is a census-designated place (CDP) in Matanuska-Susitna Borough in Alaska in the United States . The area is on the eastern bank of the Susitna River about nine miles by air from Talkeetna and is not accessible by regular road links.
history
A dairy was established near Chase in 1927 , leading to a trade in dairy products throughout the Matanuska Valley. Most of the dairy products were sold by hotels operated by the Alaska Railroad . In 1933 the dairy was relocated to Palmer .

At the time of the 2000 census ( US Census 2000 ), Chase CDP had 41 residents on a land area of 240.6 km². The median age was 47.2 years (US national mean: 35.3 years). The per capita income (engl. The inhabitants live mainly from small-scale agriculture for their own needs and from public support services.
