Meadow Lakes is a census-designated place (CDP) in Matanuska-Susitna Borough in Alaska in the United States . The area is located between the Little Susitna River and the Alaska Railroad network near the towns of Wasilla and Houston and is accessible via the George Parks Highway .

history

Around 1906 the Carle Wagon Road (now called Wasilla-Fishhook Road) was built, which served as a thoroughfare to the gold mines of the Willow Creek Mining District.
